The Milkshakes served here are world class and unbelievably tasty. They cost between £5 and £6 and are worth it if you have a sweet tooth. One comes with salted caramel sauce, whipped cream and a brownie,  another with cream, a cookie, caramelised banana and marshmallows, banana chips and salted caramel sauce – absolutely divine. Others come with a doughnut, rainbow sprinkles, shortbread and strawberries. Honestly, they are exceptional!

Incredible milkshakes.

The business is family run, by mother and daughters, which is clear from the friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The venue is ideal for baby showers, hen parties, birthdays and any other celebration or event.

There’s nothing quite like tea and cake and The Great British Cupcakery excel for both. It’s a hidden gem that should definitely be discovered when in Newcastle.
